ABOUT US

GROW Community Food Literacy Centre is a registered charity in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Our goals are to assist and empower those with barriers to accessing and benefiting from good healthy food. We do this by

offering a fresh produce market with pantry and a community kitchen with opportunities to cook and share

good food, while building community and breaking down social isolation. GROW is a community-focused

model aimed at addressing some of the long-term food challenges faced by low-income residents and persons

with disabilities in our community.

"GROW - down to earth and rooted in goodness"

Our MISSION

Reduce hunger with dignity, build capacity and community, foster sustainability to support health, belonging and social justice in Niagara Falls through food literacy.

We acknowledge that the land on which we gather is the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties, and is within the lands protected by the “Dish With One Spoon” wampum agreement. With our Indigenous Outreach Coordinator, we are working closely with our Indigenous community to advocate for a just food system, and to create community food programs that are culturally relevant, diverse, equitable and inclusive.
